# RatePlanToken Cancel RQ

The Cancel functionality for our RatePlanToken product is directly based on our original OTA\_CancelRQ/RS. The request message is is almost identical to the classic model.

## Purpose

This message is used to:

* Cancel a whole booking.
* Cancel an item of a booking.

## Details and Structure

In the RatePlanToken API, it is important to differentiate the **Quote** and **Commit** for the Cancel request.

### Quote

The **Quote** request works exactly the same as in [OTA\_CancelRQ](https://docs.axisdata.net/bookingmgmt/bookCancelRQ.md).

### Commit

The **Commit** structure is essentially the same as in [OTA\_CancelRQ](https://docs.axisdata.net/bookingmgmt/bookCancelRQ.md).

The **difference** is that for confirming a Cancelation, the **CancelToken** will be needed. This CancelToken will be returned in the Cancel Quote response.
